After the success of the 1st edition of the Prize Short IN, a NOVARTIS e o ICA- Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual, launched the 2nd edition of this award directed both to students of film and audiovisual, or to the general public, challenging them to sensitize society making a short film on the topic "Changing the course of Multiple Sclerosis".
The three associations of existing patients in the country: National Association of Multiple Sclerosis (WE), Multiple Sclerosis Portuguese Society (HOPE) and the Association all with Multiple Sclerosis (TEM), also joined this initiative and is ready to provide information about the disease as well as contacts with people living with this disease.
The novelty in this 2nd edition of the Prize Short IN is that there were two awards in two separate categories: "Jury selection" for film students and audiovisual and, "Public choice" for amateurs.
The winners were announced on 25 May 2015, two days before the date on which this year celebrated the World Day of Multiple Sclerosis and the six short films in the competition the winners were:
People's Choice: Som cry week – Rafaela Vieira, Edmilson Fernandes and Tiago Pinto
Jury selection: This – Daniel Teixeira da Silva
