Acupuncture is one of the techniques most commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine and is recognized by the World Health Organization since 1979.
It is based on ancient Chinese theories of the flow of Qi (Energy) e Xue (Blood), through meridians or specific channels that run through the body to stimulate good circulation of energy, causing various types of organic energy flow to areas where they are disabled and out of the areas where they are in excess. Thus, treatment eliminates not only symptoms, but also its causes.
Treatment Acupuncture is suitable for those who have problems in almost all health specialties. The World Health Organization drew up a list of problems, while still limiting, which can be treated by acupuncture:
- ears, Nose and Throat
- respiratory
- gastrointestinal
- eyes
- nervous and muscular system
TuiNa
TuiNa (Chinese massage), which means "push" and "cling". It aims to disperse, tone and harmonize the energy and the blood of an energy channel, organ or body region. Relaxes the stiffness and reorganizes the yin and yang energies of the body promoting the restoration of health.
REIKI / QiGong therapeutic
Reiki seeks to realign the flow of vital energy, returning the energy balance of the body, which produces a deep sense of general well-being. It is an energy therapy based on the Model Metaphysical that favors change of consciousness, in other words, it helps to be aware of who we are and who we want to be, facilitating the necessary changes to respond more effectively to the disease / condition or origin of the imbalance.
Its effectiveness is undeniable and it is officially recognized in several countries. In Portugal, its recognition has been growing, and it is already integrated medicine as complementary to conventional medicine in some hospitals. The therapeutic QiGong is restoring the energy balance according to MTC.
QiGong
Qigong consists of physical and breathing movements to balance the body's movements, regular energy (Qi) and breath, with the aim of preventing and curing diseases.
Na China, It is used as a major chronic disease therapies, even in hospital.
The practice of qigong improves physical fitness by increasing the reaction rate, muscle strength, flexibility and coordination, improving lung capacity, heart rate and blood pressure and improves indices of bone density.
It contributes positively to the emotional and mental balance, to relieve anxiety and depression, the increased ability to concentrate and to maintain the state of mental health.
Increases Agility memory and reasoning, short term memory, attention and slows mental and physical aging.
Increases self-esteem, vitality, sleep quality. Studies have shown that QiGong helps reduce the incidence of chronic cardiovascular disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, enhances natural immunity, lipid metabolism and transport of oxygen in blood.
